Guide the evidence.
Protect the learner.

Use this teacher area to introduce The Confidence Index, set privacy and evidence norms, and open the same independent reader your students will use.

Facilitation sequence

Prepare, investigate, reflect.

1 · Before reading

Set the evidence norm.

Ask students to identify the evidence a claim would require before accepting a confident answer. Establish that a fluent claim and a verified claim are different things.

2 · During the story

Pause at decisions.

Give readers time to name what supports a conclusion, what is missing, and which study supports or source checks are appropriate.

3 · After reading

Frame the final.

Use the supplemental final as a learning reflection. Review uncertainty, source boundaries, and responsible next steps rather than presenting an outcome guarantee.
