Why It Matters
Young people today are navigating AI systems that encode assumptions they were never taught to question. They are inheriting a civic landscape that rewards outrage over inquiry.
Civics Remix is a direct response to that moment. We put students around a table and ask them to think together, out loud, about the hardest questions of their time.
When a student sits at a Harkness table and defends an argument to a peer, changes their mind based on evidence, or asks a question no one in the room had thought to ask — something real happens. That is the work your donation funds.
RockStars4Impact is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the District of Columbia. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law. You will receive a donation receipt for your records.

Gift Impact Levels
Every dollar goes directly toward program delivery. Civics Remix operates lean by design — the fellows model means we grow from within the student community itself.
Funds session materials and discussion guides for one student for an entire program cycle.
Supports a complete Harkness session — a trained fellow at the table, pre-session planning, and post-session debrief.
Funds a complete multi-week program cycle including assessments, Civic Artifact support, and fellow facilitation.
Sponsors a full Fellows cohort — training the next generation of peer facilitators who will lead sessions for years to come.

When a student changes their mind based on evidence from a peer — not a teacher, not a screen — that is the moment civic education is working.
